Here at Farleys Solicitors we’ve been practising legal common sense for over 60 years. Our roots are firmly based in Lancashire, having started our journey in Blackburn in 1958. We now have seven offices across Lancashire and Greater Manchester, 180+ employees and offer a full range of legal services for individuals and businesses.
Our reputation and growth are based on how our legal services are delivered, combining our legal expertise with a down-to-earth approach and a focus on getting the job done for our clients.
What sets us apart as a firm is our people. A grown-up culture of hard-working colleagues, but with a flexible approach to delivering a quality service to our clients within a genuinely well-adjusted work/life balance environment.
It’s a genuinely exciting time to join the firm. Our recent acquisition by the Lawfront group means that there is investment and growth. It’s a time of really positive change and we have ambitious plans.
We are currently seeking a motivated and talented HR Advisor to join our team for twelve months. Based from our new East Lancs office just off the M65 in Padiham, near Burnley, there will also be some requirement to visit our other offices to support the expanding People & Culture provision (you’ll need to have your own transport).
You’ll be someone who can run with, and own, projects, be able to influence, and be happy to offer your advice where needed. You’ll provide a comprehensive HR service to the firm, covering all aspects of the employee life-cycle, including; onboarding, employee relations, performance management, HR compliance and HR administration.
Ideally, you’ll have around three years' generalist experience and will have gained knowledge of relevant employment legislation, principals and procedures.
You’ll have the ability to solve problems and make choices by applying evidence to specific situations, with a people centred approach, providing a high-quality service to all of our colleagues.
Your experience will mean that you’ll be comfortable in advising stakeholders on the appropriate handling and successful resolution of disciplinary, grievance, and dismissal hearings and appeals, plus other ER matters e.g. absence and flexible working applications.
If this sounds like you, please click apply and we’ll be in touch.
